(KRON) -- An early-morning crash left one woman dead and sent two men to the hospital with "major" injuries, the California Highway Patrol confirmed to KRON4. San Jose victim identified after fatal stabbing Around 4 a.m., a 2019 Lincoln MKC was involved in a non-injury crash with a 2012 Toyota that had a man behind the wheel and a woman passenger. The Lincoln was occupied by a solo male driver. Both vehicles were in the northbound lanes of SR-92. CHP says the vehicles were parked in fast lane and the occupants had exited vehicles to exchange information. That's when a 2022 Dodge Durango traveling in the first lane crashed into both vehicles and all three pedestrians. The woman from the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The two men were taken to a hospital with "major but non-life threatening" injuries. An out-of-control pickup truck came to rest right outside someone’s doorstep in Northwest Miami-Dade, sending one person to the hospital.Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the chaotic crash in the area of Northwest 135th Street and 25th Avenue, Saturday morning.The wreck left the overturned pickup truck wedged between a sedan and an SUV in front of a house.Rescue crews took the injured victim away in an ambulance and later airlifted them to the hospital. Officer shot in Roxbury recovering from injuries, suspect in custody

A Brockton man is in custody in connection with the shooting of Boston police officer, who is recovering from his injuries in the hospital, officials said Saturday.Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox said the officer initially saw a pizza delivery driver being robbed at gunpoint and approached a suspect, later identified as 23-year-old John Lazare, of Brockton, who opened fire in the area of Cedric Street. Cox said the officer was shot twice and was rushed to Boston Medical Center for treatment.
